A TIME FOR CHANGE

As posted in the last blog, such actions have been common in Afghanistan´s history. We have been pushed aside, treated as second grade citizen of our own land, by those who arrived after the bloodiest chapter of our country, the mongol wars was over.



As a matter of fact, from then on they have been using our land, our culture our traditions and history and litrature, branding it as theirs, and at the meantime, trying hard to deny our very existence in our own land.



But now it is upon us, to understand the motives of their movements, and reactions, and to stand strong together, against the fascist Pashtoonism and Pashtoonizing policies of Afghan Mellatis. We are not the agressors, we are not fascists who claim that a complete nation should be taken off the worlds map and history books for our own survival. We are merely defending our right to exist.



Let no one tell you that being a nationalist is equal to being a Nazi. We are nationalist, or have strong feelings for our nation, just because we love and support our language, history, culture and our great ancient civilization.



We would not tire, we would not falter and we would not stop and turn our backs to our nation. We would continue to raise our voice, so loud that every one in this world hears it that we, Tajiks, are there, and will stay and are part of the world community. And for that, every persian must stand tall, and raise their voices.



History bears witniss, that a war not fought, is a war long lost. It is time for a change in minds.

The New Old Trend of Pashtoonism is Coming Back to Life

According to a BBC report, Karim Khurram, who is in charge of Ministry of Information and Culture, has sacked two employees of his ministry for using Persian words(Daanishgah=University, Negaristan=Gallery...etc) in their reports.

This is not the first time that such desperate racist acts have been committed against the Persian language and culture.

This undermines once again the fear of hardline Pashtoon nationalists in Afghanistan, that after the fall of the Taliban, ending Pashtoon rule of over 200 years in Afghanistan, the Persian language, culture and mentality would further affect every aspect of our society as it has been continously doing so in the past.

The National assembly plans to question Mr.Khurram about his actions, the outcome is yet to be decided.
